Attending the Membership & Revenue Development Conference in Atlanta was an incredible experience that exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Provided by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), the event brought together professionals from across the country for an invaluable opportunity to learn, network, and grow within the field. From thought-provoking sessions to unforgettable networking moments, this conference always has it all. Here’s a recap of my experience.
The conference sessions were packed with insights on strategies for driving membership growth, increasing revenue, and tackling the many challenges that chambers of commerce face. The speakers were experts in their fields, and they shared tools and tactics that can be directly applied to our work back home. Whether you’re looking to boost retention rates, increase sponsorships, or improve the member experience, the wealth of knowledge shared at this conference will undoubtedly influence my approach in the coming months.
One of the most valuable aspects of this conference was the opportunity to connect with other professionals from across the country. The networking events were top-notch, providing plenty of chances to meet like-minded individuals who are also passionate about membership and revenue development.
No conference would be complete without great food, and let me tell you, Atlanta did not disappoint! From fried green tomatoes to lobster rolls to shrimp cocktail, the culinary offerings were on point. My favorite part was the networking lunches and networking dinners where the food was as good as the conversation.
A huge highlight of the event was the opportunity to see Truist Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves! We got to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere while reflecting on everything we’d learned during the event. Whether you’re a baseball fan or not, visiting Truist Park was a great way to unwind and make lasting memories with fellow attendees.
All in all, the Membership & Revenue Development Conference in Atlanta was an incredibly enriching experience. I left feeling inspired, energized, and full of ideas. From the engaging sessions to the networking opportunities, everything about the conference was designed to help attendees grow both professionally and personally.
If you’re considering attending next year’s event, I highly recommend it. Not only will you gain invaluable insights into membership and revenue development, but you’ll also have the chance to connect with a community of passionate professionals who share your goals.
